Up to 3 attemptsOriginal attempt plus two opportunities to improve.
Highest score recordedThe strongest demonstrated score becomes the gradebook score.
Year-to-date gradeStudents can see their developing course grade throughout the year.
Grade 1 design rule: lessons use strong visual support, models, manipulatives, pictures, and step-by-step examples. Lesson pages may be as long as needed to teach the concept clearly. The gradebook shown here is the approved interface structure; persistent student scores will require the later account/database implementation.

How the Gradebook Works
The learning experience and the grade are connected without making practice punitive. Students can learn, review, try again, and have their strongest demonstrated score count.
Monday–ThursdayEach new-concept lesson ends with a short graded Daily Assignment.
Second & Third AttemptsStudents may review the concept and try again. The highest of up to three attempts is kept.
Final Course GradeThe year-to-date grade develops across the course. Exact weighting rules remain configurable and will not be hard-coded yet.
